Challenge:
The Central Bank, through Circular 3.952/2019 and Resolution 4.734, established a new operating model for the card receivables market, changing the conditions for guarantees of card receivables and eliminating the old bank lock-in.
Thus, it was established the obligation to register and update receivables by acquirers and sub-acquirers in a registrar, so that the records are visible to the whole market through interoperability between registrars.
What was done:
An interoperability environment was created between Registrars (IMFs). This became a sharing channel between them to ensure the correct formalization in the receivables records, connecting the information registered by different acquirers without the need for financial institutions to connect to each one of them.
This environment was implemented using a unified architecture, based on high-performance APIs, designed on scalable microservices and based on cloud computing.
