Challenge: The client used multiple systems to originate transactions (package sales, airline tickets, accommodations, vacation clubs, tickets, etc.), all from third parties, in addition to multiple payment providers (credit and debit cards, bank slips, Pix). Transaction management was hindered by the dispersion of information and the inflexibility of routing rules, which were static in each system, making it impossible to parameterize payment methods for specific campaigns.
Solution: A Payment Gateway was developed to centralize transactions and payment method routing configurations. The system has two main modules: Administrative module: Allows the back office to configure payment methods and routing rules. Payment module: Receives transactions originated by third-party systems, checks the parameterized rules, and dynamically routes the transaction to the most suitable provider. The customer is redirected to a checkout screen to complete the payment .
